Description

The Ecommerce Marketing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all product & website content and assets are accurate and optimized across all online platforms, including Pilates.com, Amazon, Contrology and other Balanced Body web properties. This job requires excellent communication skills, fine attention to detail, strong follow through and a curiosity and drive for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, concise, engaging product sales copy that accurately represents the product and highlights features to drive more sales
• Work closely across Marketing and other departments to ensure that all product photography and videos are shot, edited and published as needed for all sites/sales channels
• Write SEO optimized product descriptions, titles and other metadata for all new product pages. Ensure all existings listings are accurate, effective and designed for high click thru rates
• Develop subject matter expertise on highest revenue products and good understanding of entire product portfolio
• Cultivate standards, processes and best practices for content creation, distribution and maintenance of new and existing product listings. Audit listings to ensure all processes (ex. Image alt tags) are being followed.
• Work cross functionally to ensure that all product data and feeds are accurate and complete across all BB websites, marketing collateral and sales channels (Amazon, Google Merchant Center, Shopify Sales Channels, etc)
• Partner with outside agencies to develop, review, edit and test product content, infographics and image/video assets to increase sales
• Serve as a focal point within the Marketing team for answering product specific questions
• Create, edit and maintain other ecommerce website content/pages on Pilates.com, Contrology & all other Balanced Body web properties.
• Perform and manage ongoing keyword research and analysis to increase organic search engine rankings. Track and monitor top 100 organic listings
• Perform analysis & optimize product categories, product pages and high value content across all website properties (as well as Amazon store) to increase organic search traffic/rankings and product conversions.
• Review and manage all company & contact information across online platform profiles (Ex. Google My Business, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc) to ensure all information is accurate
• Use analytics and tools to monitor changes in product sales and identify website content opportunities for driving additional online traffic
• Work with team to perform website split testing on product listings to improve product page sales performance

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in E-Commerce, Content Marketing or Communications
• Expert knowledge of Shopify Plus, Amazon Seller Central and WordPress
• Strong sales copywriting skills and experience creating product descriptions & product sales content to optimize sales/conversions
• Search engine optimization (SEO), data analytics or competitive intelligence experience
• preferred
• Solid knowledge of Excel, Google Analytics and Google Merchant Center preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Strong organization skills, follow through and a keen eye for detail
• Motivated self-starter and quick learner with a desire to learn and grow

Work Schedule:

This is a Monday to Friday position. The position is a hybrid role in Sacramento, CA.
